Paddling

Pleasant Ridge Camp and Retreat Center is offering paddling trips on beautiful Lake Jocassee in Oconee County during the months of September,  October and November.

We will post dates for our Fall Trips in July and begin taking reservations August 1.

Event details:

All trips are guided and last between 5 and 6 hours total, including transportation, instruction and 2 to 3 hours on the water.  Transportation to and from the lake is provided as well as boats and all gear required for the trip.  Lunch can be provided for an additional cost.

Trips leave from Pleasant Ridge Camp and Retreat Center located at 4232 Highway 11, Marietta SC 29661 in northern Greenville County.

Cost:

$45.00 per person (minimum age 6) for a canoe or kayak.

$10.00 per person to add a meal to your trip.

Includes: Transportation, boats, PFD’s (life jacket), paddles, instruction, and guides.  Boats are Mad River Adventure 14 canoes or Perception Sparky 9.5 kayaks.

Note: This trip is not recommended for those who have not paddled before.  Some paddling experience is suggested before trying this trip.
